Viewing Your Entire Playing
Board
Double Solitaire displays a lot of graphics on the screen and needs to have your display set at a high enough resolution
so there is room for everything.
If you are an Internet
Explorer user, try hitting the F11 key to maximize the size of the browser window.
If
you are using Netscape, you can double-click on the title bar
at the top of the window to maximize its size. Then click on
the small down-arrows at the far left of the button bars at the top
to reduce their size.
If you are an AOL user,
try going to My AOL, select Preferences. Click on the Toolbar button and select Text only for Appearance.
If the above steps do not
apply to your situation or still do not give you enough of the playing board displayed, you need to change your
display resolution from low to a higher one by the following steps:
1.
Right mouse click on your
desktop (the area of the monitor without any windows). A menu should pop up. Click on the Properties selction.
2.
The Display window should
appear. Click on the Settings tab at the top of this window.
3.
At the lower right hand side
of this display should be a slider under a heading "Desktop Area". Slide the slider to the right (with
your mouse) until its caption reads (1024x768). On some older displays (or portable machines) that may not be possible.
In that case go to 800x600.
4.
Click the Apply button at
the lower right. Then click the OK button. You should be ready to go at the higher display resolution. Close this
window. If your computer says it needs to be restarted, do so at this point.
